"Francesco Saja" Library
The "Francesco Saja" Library, named after the first Chairman of the Authority, was inaugurated on 14 May 1996.
The collection is mainly dedicated to competition law and economics, advertising and consumer protection, but it also includes more general legal and economic works.

The Library is designed specifically to provide the information needed by the Authority staff.
It is only open to outside visitors by appointment , by contacting +39.06.85.82.18.52. Applica
Anyone wishing to use the library for professional reasons and to study issues relating to competition and misleading and comparative advertising may only consult the Library material indicated in the electronic catalogue. The Authority's official documentation (texts of decisions, annual reports, fact-finding surveys etc.) can be found on the Authority's web site under Publications.
LIBRARY HOLDING
At the present time (June 2003) the library comprises about 4600 books and 240 periodicals, of which 170 are current issues. This forms part of the more extensive Authority's documentation system, and it offers an online facility for staff use to access data banks ( Il Sole 24 ore, Cerved, Profound, Consiglio di Stato, Eur-Lex, Gazzette Ufficiali, Leggi d’Italia, Giust.it, R&S, Celex, Econlit ) and SSRN, NBER, CEPR working paper series.

- Creating and updating tools for consulting documentation at the library and in the Offices (catalogues)
- Users' referencing service
- Taking part in cooperation projects and events organised between libraries (e.g. ESSPER to collect Italian magazine cuttings and exchange articles free of charge)
